My Annual Report for 2012

December 31, 2012   |   25 Comments

Hello, all. Inspired by Jonathan Fields, I wrote this annual report to try to make sense of 2012 and clarify my direction for 2013. Writing it was very instructive. I reviewed what worked, what failed, what influenced me, and where I plan to go creatively, spiritually, and professionally. Even though this report is about me, I hope you will find it beneficial to read.

Here’s to a year of brilliance and peace, Susan

If you feel moved to share it, here is the direct link.

    Dear Susan,

Thank you so much for sharing your annual report. I offer my deepest condolences on the loss of your dad. My dad passed away in 2010 and my grief process opened a period of profound change for me (and for my business).

On the business side, I was so grateful to witness your thought process and see how the year unfolded for you. I’ve been writing my own annual report (also inspired by Jonathan Fields). It’s been such great tool for clarifying my thinking. I pray that you’ll enjoy great success in 2013.

    with love,
    Tara

Yes you are doing the right thing so stop asking yourself this question. Your work is fresh and inovative. It is sensible and innovative.

Thanks so much for sharing this. It is so personal, so honest. It’s helpful in a way I have trouble articulating. Something about seeing someone I look up to lay out their struggles without pretense allows me to be more comfortable and at the same time less complacent about my own.

I could not hope for a better response than this, Jonathan. Thank you.

    Hi Susan,

I too, offer my condolences on the passing of your dad.

I came to your work by way of Seth, then to Jonathon’s work. Amazing how one path leads to others.

I appreciate the work you do, I find your way of doing it so gosh darned relateable., my word. There you sit with holes in your jeans and a cat wondering through. Would think differently if you had a shaved head and a robe and was speaking through a cloud of incense smoke.

I personally don’t wish to go deeper , like offered in the practitioner level, and I understand the economics of things., so how to support your work?? You mentioned people wanting to do more but lacked funds but I can’t seem to find address to send anything to help with
    scholarships.

    Best wishes for 2013.

Thanks, Mike. And thanks for being willing to support the work!! That is so kind. You can do so here. http://bit.ly/Zggn8z

And I promise to always have ripped up jeans and cats and so forth.

      Glad to practice together!

      All best, S

Wow. So glad I tripped over this today on Facebook! Your honesty and openness is so commendable. Insightful…. For so many who consider you as The Source of Knowledge on your topics, to remember that we are all works in progress with goals, dreams, setbacks, and incremental wins is HUGE.

Having you and Charlie as part of my life, if for only one weekend was an incredible gift. That force multiplier of you, JF, and C-Gilks was unprecedented… The perfect balance of spiritual, masculine, feminine, pragmatic, and tactical WISDOM x infinity.0.

Happy I have years ahead of me to keep processing all of it. Hahahaha

The (FRIGGiN) Enneagram!!!!! I am permanently altered by THAT Piver introduction. It’s like going from Rand McNally to Google Earth. I had the opp to do every major self assessment this year. And the Enneagram crushed all of them…. It’s like I never fully understood myself… The perfect missing piece prior to launching my Manifesto and claiming my rightful job at our company ( nat’l director of sales engagement).

But there’s more… You seem to have amassed the ultimate arsenal of people who KNOW exactly how to build what you’re building. JF. Gilks. Seth (!!!).

Everyone only has mad reverence for you and your work.

Can’t help but KNOW it’s only a matter of minutes until you exceed your benchmark metrics by leaps and bounds.

It’s just too good. Too real. Too based on the accumulated amazing-ness of your story thus far.

This is a great show. Keep enjoying it, at least as much as the rest of us are!

I’m glad you found it too!! I always feel so inspired and uplifted by basically everything you say. I have read your message a bunch of times, K-Car, and will return to it as needed!! You are awesome and I’m so, so happy that I know you. xoxo S

Hi, Susan–Thanks for your report. It was fun to read. It also made me wonder if I have paid my entire $108 for the year! There was some kind of mixup with PayPal where they weren’t charging automatically or something. I don’t think that any of us in the Practitioner Program would take it amiss if you asked us for balances outstanding, or checked to be sure that PayPal is doing its job, etc.

Love the OHP and am happy with the Practitioner Program to being approached as a ‘course of study’.

    Thank you again.

    • Posted by:  susan

Very encouraging, thanks! Will email you separately about payment–

And no, you having been offering too much as far as I’m concerned. Personally, my absence from calls and ‘webinars’ has had more to do with my time zone than anything else.

One suggestion–you could call them ‘web seminars’ or something. When I first heard the term ‘webinar’ about 10 years ago, I swore that I would never attend one. Have softened my stance on that though. (Just kidding about changing the name.)

    Hi Susan,
I read this the day you shared it, and have intended to post a comment too! Here it is, February 1st. As you say, no worry! Start fresh! Your words often ring in my head.

I love your annual report and the heartfelt clarity it communicates. I see the value it taking the time to clarify what one wants, align with the intentions, and share in a way that invites support. My feeling is that energetic support is flowing your way each and every day.

Keep doing what you love to do, and know that you are much appreciated
