Dear, wonderful Open Heart Project,
Hello, I hope you are well and finding sources of peace within yourself and around yourself.
Did you know that within the OHP there is something called the Open Heart Project Sangha? We explore a different theme each month and recently that theme was something called the Four Karmas which describe four different ways to relate to the things that happen to us. It provoked a very interesting conversation and so I wanted to include you in it via this short talk.
Love to hear from you! Let me know what you think!

Thank you for this opportunity to learn about the four karmas. Very helpful.
So glad to hear it, Gwen! <3 S
G’day Susan. Just a quick thank you for this emphasis on Buddhism IRL. I’m finding it really useful and love the pragmatism of it all. Quite separately, I had decided to revisit (and relearn!) the 59 slogans, which I am doing guided by books by Norman Fischer and Pema Chodron. The way things dovetail together is wonderful. As is everyone who comments here, I am grateful, so grateful to you for your sharing and wisdom and compassion and energy. Thank you.
Hi Wendy! How wonderful that you are revisiting the lojong slogans. They are endlessly rich. It is great to practice together. With love, Susan
Really useful talk. It helps me understand what has happened with my daughter and her husband and her need to separate after trying many times to work things out.
So glad it was helpful, Eroca. With love, Susan
Thank you for this talk, Susan, and thank you so much for the meditation instruction. I’ve been meditating regularly each morning for about a year now and I began this form of meditation with your on-line talks. I am getting old now and this practice is becoming the valued focal point of my life. I have often wondered what happens in the on-line sangha and whether it is for me to join/commit at this point or not, so I was happy to hear your remarks this time when you mentioned that this talk came from there.
So glad we can practice together, Phillip, and it would be lovely to see you at the sangha if it makes sense for you! It is designed as a support for practice. Let me know if you have any questions. With love, Susan
