Hello DearHearts,
My name is Clif (he/they). I am queer, and currently live in Portland, Oregon. I split my time (as often as I am able to) between PDX and Mexico City. I took Refuge with our Dear Teacher, Susan, last year (my new Buddhist name: Champa Choga/Maitri Dharma Joy) 🙏. I am pleased to formally continue my studies and practice in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage. I am a Upaya Zen Chaplaincy School dropout (smile), a student (books, readings, practices) of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and in our lineage as well with Margaret Wheatley and Jerry Granelli (Warrior for The Human Spirit Training), Cynthia Kneen, and Pema Chödron. And, of course, our DearHeart Thich Nhat Hanh. I am fascinated by Queer Dharma, and I have been fortunate to travel in the footsteps of the Buddha in Nepal and India.
I am curious and excited to hold space with one another, and to learn together. I look forward to our journey. 🙏
