Hello, wonderful person.
Before today’s practice, I share a few thoughts about mindfulness meditation. Is that what we are doing when we sit together? Yes, that is accurate. But it is only 50% accurate. There is another aspect that is equally important. Please have a listen to this short talk to learn more. And let me know what you think because I always love to hear from you.
With love,
Susan

Thank you. What a relief.
So glad to hear it! <3 S
This brough me joy this morning. Your voice has become a tool I can use to calm my nervous system after listening to it for hours via audiobook. I am very thankful for you.
And I’m thankful for you. <3 S
It’s such a lightbulb moment to realize that the technique is not the practice! Thank you for this reminder, which takes “doing it right” off the agenda.
so glad this was useful. <3 s
Hello Susan ,thank you for this practice. During the meditation i lost the feeling of my limbs and was left with just a wave going back and forth through my hands…such a beautiful sensation.
thanks for practicing. <3 s
Thank you once again, Susan.
Thank you, once again, Susan. I began my meditation today hoping for relief from something currently worrying and distressing me. I came to the odd realization that I should just let myself be worried and distressed; it won’t last forever and it really doesn’t matter very much that I’m worried if I don’t make a big deal about it. Now I strangely seem more relaxed.
i totally get this! relaxing with what is (even if “what is” is not relaxing) is…relaxing. <3 s
Dear Susan,
Such a beautiful instruction and clarification for me about awareness…it grows through our receiving with relaxation. I had never put that together.
so happy this was useful. much love always, s
I found this quite helpful. Never heard it said quite this way before, that one happens through trying and the other through being receptive. That explains the whole samatha/vipassana instruction.
So happy this was useful. <3 s
