In the last 12 months, there has been incredible turmoil, powerful hope, and a deeper conversation about what really matters more than ever before. What will the next year bring for you? Those you love? The world? This is the time of year when thoughts naturally turn toward what we want to create going forward, how to best support what we believe in, and what we can do to make a better world. Let’s leap into the future with courage and compassion.

But how?

According to Buddhist thought, there are only six skills you need to cultivate to bring more joy, peace, and fierceness into the world. They are called the six paramitas (or transcendent actions):

Generosity

Discipline

Patience

Exertion

Meditation

Wisdom

The Open Heart Project has invited a collection of accomplished Buddhist teachers to teach us about these powerful actions, one each between December 26 – 31.

Each day at 3:00 p.m. EST, a different amazing teacher will lead a 45-minute session to explore one of the paramitas. We will start with generosity on December 26th and end with wisdom on December 31st. From Zen to Vipassana to Tibetan and other Buddhist lineages, you will hear teachings from a variety of perspectives. Each class will begin with an opening talk, followed by a guided meditation and a question and answer period. (You will be able to type your questions into a chat screen or come on the screen to ask your question live.)

You are invited to drop into one or all sessions. Together, these wonderful teachers will help you enter 2020 with confidence.

THIS PROGRAM IS FREE.

All you have to do is register. Registration includes access to my newsletter with ongoing support for your spiritual journey.
