Buddhist Teachings for Navigating Everyday Life with Vision and Love
April 11-13
Lenox, MA
Please join me for a special in-person retreat at Kripalu, a beautiful program center in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts.
As winter slowly turns to spring, let’s gather together for a few days of deep practice, community, and conversation about the very personal nature of the spiritual journey.
In Buddhist thought, there are three paths to enlightenment. The monastic path and the cave dweller involve turning away from the distractions of everyday life. Only the third path—the householder yogi—involves turning deeply toward everyday life as a way to wake up. No matter how chaotic and uncertain life is, there are practices to help you recover balance and sanity in the midst of it all.
On this weekend retreat, we will explore the following:
We will also explore the Heart Sutra, an ancient text that connects you to wisdom beyond concept. It’s also the subject of my most recent (very short!) book, Inexplicable Joy.
Return home understanding how to make everyday life an expression of your spiritual practice.
All the details, including a comprehensive schedule, are here.
I hope to see you there!
With love,
Susan
PS The food is great. Just saying.
