When I started the Open Heart Project in 2011, the mindfulness craze had just begun. Thank goodness! Without it, I don’t think my invitation to learn meditation would have garnered much support. That said, meditation is not a way to hack into greater productivity. Nor is it a way to lose weight or become a better golfer. It is a way to see clearly. It is a path to joy. It is about helping others and bringing more sanity to this world.
On July 26, I’ll be on Google Hangouts for a free one-hour conversation open to anyone who would like to learn more about meditation as a spiritual path rather than a life-hack. I’ll share the 3 steps you can take to keep your practice firmly rooted in the spiritual (rather than self-improvement) without adopting a new religion.
I believe so strongly in mindfulness as a path (rather than a mere technique), that I want to tell you at the end of the webinar about two programs within the Open Heart Project. First is our Sangha (Sanksrit for community). The Sangha is a way to work together more closely. Also, I’m launching our first-ever meditation instructor certification program at the end of September. This nine week course is to teach others how to teach meditation responsibly.
At the end of the hangout, I’ll stick around to answer questions about these programs for those who may be interested.
I hope you will join me. Sign up for this FREE special event by clicking here
