Hello, Open Heart Project. Welcome to a new week! It has been quite a week here in the United States and elsewhere. There has been an upwelling of concern for others, rejection of hatred, and a longing for peace, justice, and tolerance. No matter what your political beliefs, I am sure we share these wishes.

In the current climate, it is very easy to become overwhelmed. We want to help. We want to stand up for what we believe. There is so much opposition and unfairness. How to avoid becoming overwhelmed?

Our theme this month, simplicity, can really help. It helps me every day. Before today’s sit, I offer some additional insights into simplicity, taking action to help the world, and maintaining equanimity.

How are you in all of this? What is your wish for our world and how can your community support you? Please share what is on your mind.

Love, Susan
