Dear Open Heart Project,

I hope you are well and safely-sheltered, and that your loved ones are as well. We are all riding the waves of uncertainty, feeling everything from fear to gratitude. There is a sense of confinement and also of possibility. It is too early to make sense of anything, I find. What is most needed is patience–with the situation, with each other, and with ourselves.

Which brings us to the third of the six paramitas (or transcendent actions): patience. Please listen to this week’s video for some insights into how to have more patience. This is not about having more grim forbearance, it is actually about softening, allowing ourselves to feel, and searching for the biggest viewpoint possible. Let me know what you think!
