Dear Open Heart Project,
I hope you are well and safely-sheltered, and that your loved ones are as well. We are all riding the waves of uncertainty, feeling everything from fear to gratitude. There is a sense of confinement and also of possibility. It is too early to make sense of anything, I find. What is most needed is patience–with the situation, with each other, and with ourselves.
Which brings us to the third of the six paramitas (or transcendent actions): patience. Please listen to this week’s video for some insights into how to have more patience. This is not about having more grim forbearance, it is actually about softening, allowing ourselves to feel, and searching for the biggest viewpoint possible. Let me know what you think!
What are you struggling with most? What is helping you right now? What are you discovering? It would be so great to hear.
Please remember that the Open Heart Project is offering four live meditation gatherings per day, Monday-Friday. All the details are here. The 3rd sitting is in Spanish. Yoga Nidra has been introduced in certain sessions. Please feel free to share if you know others who would benefit from sitting in community. FREE.
With much love, Susan
PS I will be in touch with a new video each week (rather than each month) during this intense time. Feel free to forward or send the sign-up link to anyone who might be interested. xoxoxo
